Every machine should prove the intelligence it runs

In the cloud, a wrong answer is a retry. In a machine, it is a physical event. A note from the founder.

In the cloud, a wrong answer is a retry. In a machine, it is a physical event. That one difference is why Vraelis exists.

When a chatbot gets something wrong, you ask again. When the AI inside a robot arm, a drone or a piece of grid equipment gets something wrong, something moves that should not have. The model is no longer advice on a screen. It is a decision in the world.

The question nobody can answer yet

Ask the team responsible for a fleet of machines a simple question: which AI is running on each one, right now, and is it the one you approved? Today the honest answer is usually that they believe so. A model was approved in the lab, packaged, shipped and loaded somewhere along the way, and the record of that journey lives in people's memories, chat threads and spreadsheets.

Belief is fine while the machines are few. It does not hold when they number in the thousands, are built by one company, updated by another and overseen by a third.

Proof, not trust

Every machine should be able to prove the intelligence it runs: that the model inside is exactly the one that was approved, down to the byte, and that the approval covers the place it is running. That proof should travel with the model from the lab to the field, and anyone with the right to know should be able to check it.

We are building that in pieces. Vraelis Prompto, open source and available today, records exactly which AI model files you approved and tells you the moment anything changes. Vraelis Contour, in private development, compares what each machine reports it is running with what was approved. The long-term goal is a registry for physical AI: one place where models are published, approved and checked.

None of this is finished. But the machines are not waiting, and neither are we.
